Happy Gotcha Day Grr!

(Cont. from 7/3) When the kids checked the trap on July 5th, Grr was in it and she wasn't happy. The Allergic Girl tried to get Grr out of the trap and she said GRRRRRRRRRR. She finally wrapped Grr in a towel and brought the little growling bundle home. "What are we going to call you?" she asked. "GRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRR", said the towel-wrapped bundle. So we shortened it to only 2 R's, and Grr was named.

Midnight and Cocoa had already been here for 2 days, and were getting more relaxed. Grr even growled at her brother and sister at first.

After a couple days, the growling wasn't so constant and Grr started to settle in.

Because they were still scared feral kittens, they were confined to the bathroom and the long hallway, unless being supervised in one of the other rooms.

They all got lots of cuddling, even though Grr wasn't too thrilled with that. Grr really started to relax when the (formerly) Blonde Girl spent extra time with her, teaching her how to play.

Sorry about the picture quality. I had a really horrible camera at that time. I was amazed when it ever took a really good one, like the one below - baby Cocoa.
