Another Update

Here's LG, after her spay surgery. Apparently she gave the vets quite a hard time. They said if we had more like her, they'd invest in a kitty catcher. When she got home, she let my mom pet her, and she even purred.

GW was very well behaved the whole time, though sometimes pretty vocal. He even let me and Kelly (the Formerly Blonde Girl) pet and cuddle him, and he purred and purred. It was a good idea to send both of them together. They're best friends and helped calm each other down.

They're staying overnight in the house for the first time - without curtains or curtain rods. These two can be pretty destructive.

Next, we hope to catch GW's littermate sisters, Spot...

...and Tiny.

This is Momcat - GW, Spot & Tiny's mom. She has a litter of kittens somewhere close by. They're almost a month old now, and hopefully she'll bring them over soon. Not only does she need to be fixed, but something needs to be done about her tail. She's only got half of it left - it's an old injury that still bleeds sometimes. Poor kitty! She's the one my mother first saw a few months ago. She was skinny, had an injured tail, and little kittens trailing behind her. My mom put out some food, and now her backyard is full of cats.

Again, thank you so much for your help! Anyone who still wants to help, please scroll down to yesterday's post with the PayPal button at the end. Thank you!

You probably need to get a humane trap to get the mother and the other kittens.

We helped locally by taking in Tristan. Because of this, the Davis were able to catch Tabitha, a stray female and her 3 kittens. They are going for shots and in a few weeks, they are going to place them in homes. My bean tell them 'bout Catster and listing the Tabitha and her kits as adoptable.

Supposedly Tristan know Tabitha, but not in the biblical sense.

LG is a beautiful little kitty! It's too bad she's so timid. It would be nice if someone could adopt her and GW together.

Oh my...that poor sweet thing...Zorro's tail got caught in the door once and partially stripped down to the bone and he had to have surgery to amputate what was left--it looks like that kitty has suffered a similar fate but without anyone to give her the surgery she needs...i hope everything works out for her and the remaining kittens!
